Hypoallergenic Dog Food
Hypoallergenic dog food is a manufacturer's label for recipes that leave out the ingredients most often linked to food sensitivities in dogs — wheat, soya, dairy and artificial additives — and lead with a clearly named meat or fish. Every recipe here is labelled hypoallergenic by its maker: Canagan, ACANA, Carnilove and Carnilove True Fresh.
30 products
- Limited-ingredient recipes — ACANA Singles use one animal protein with one fruit or vegetable, the simplest place to start if you're trying to isolate a trigger.
- Less common proteins — Carnilove reindeer, duck & pheasant, lamb & wild boar, and Canagan country game, for dogs who react to chicken or beef.
- Puppy, adult, small breed and light/senior recipes, in bag sizes from 1.4 kg to 15 kg.
A word of honesty: "hypoallergenic" isn't a regulated term and no food is guaranteed allergy-free. If your dog has ongoing itching, ear trouble or an upset stomach, your vet is the right first call — an elimination diet is far easier to run with their help. What we can do is help you pick a recipe with a single, unfamiliar protein and keep it consistent. Everything here is also grain free, and you can browse novel proteins across food and treats.
